Vehicle and Jeep Rentals

A four-wheel drive jeep or sport utility vehicle is recommended for your stay. Although we are only 8 miles long, the roads wind along either the shoreline with breathtaking views you will want to capture. With 46 beaches on our tiny 21 square mile island, you will want to take advantage of “personally touring” St. John. 	Mailing packages to St John:	To mail a package to St. John in advance of your arrival, call Connections at 340-776-6922 or the Mail Center at 340-714-7250. The friendly folks there will give them mailing instructions, so their box will be at their office when they arrive. The Mail center charges $10-20 for a box depending on the size. Connections charges $3-10 depending on the size of the box and how long it is in their office.
Grocery Stores
		St. John has many grocery stores which we have found to cover most of your needs. We provide certain incidentals in each villa, and we recommend making your shopping list before you arrive on St. John so you don’t forget that ever important spice or dressing. Starfish Market is the largest market, located in The Marketplace Shopping Center. (This is where the Drug Store and bakery Video rental store is as well). Other markets include Dolphin Market and Pine Peace in Cruz Bay, and Love City Mini Mart and Lilly’s in Coral Bay.
Villa Provisioning, Catering and Private Chefs You may wish to have certain food and drinks in your villa upon your arrival so that your first day on St. John is relaxing instead of shopping at the grocery stores for your weekly provisioning (which they will also do if you prefer). Light snacks, cold drinks and a nice bottle of wine is a welcome sight after a long day of traveling, and your first morning’s coffee upon wakening to sweeping views each of our villas offer our guests. Catering, and Private Chefs are popular and well received by St. John Villa guests who want a personal dining experience in the luxury of their vacation villa. Consider hiring a personal chef for a special birthday or Holiday experience; chefs are available for single dining experiences or to prepare and/or provide meals for your entire stay.
